With every product Apple seems to be working on, rumours arise even before the product is launched or details are leaked on the internet about it.

The same thing is happening with the much talked about iPad Pro – the mightier version of the iPad.

The iPad Pro rumor is the most legendary rumor there has ever been in the history of Apple! The rumours started in 2013 and continued on till 2014 when it was supposed that the product would actually launch!

But, nothing happened. The rumours have begun again and are stronger than ever.

The biggest highlight is the large 12-inch screen which seems befitting since tablet sales have slumped considerably since people want bigger screens. They opt for phablets since phablets offer larger screens according to their form-factor.

The iPad Pro didn’t get launched with the iPad Air 2, so maybe it is still under development. Tim Cook doesn’t compromise on quality – never!

• Since a 12-inch MacBook has recently been launched, might be this is the iPad Pro everyone was talking about! But, rumours are rumours.
• However, a more business-focused tablet has always been the need. Many 'leaked photos' of a dummy iPad model suggest that the rumour is actually true. The screen is definitely large and is way larger than the iPad Air's 9.7 inches form factor.
• It is also believed that this will be a hybrid tablet/laptop kind of body with a detachable keyboard and a smart stylus similar to Samsung’s Note series.
• This will essentially a MacBook/iPad hybrid that will have a touchscreen and a physical keyboard for hardcore corporate work – neat!

Screen Resolution?

• Rumours say there might be two iPad Pro models that will sport two different resolutions. The first will be 2K (2,048 by 1,536 pixel screens), similar to that of the iPad Air or the iPad mini 2.
• The second will be 4K like 4K Ultra HD TVs that have 3840 x 2160 resolutions.

Stylus? WOW!

• The biggest selling point for the iPad Pro will be a neat little stylus for efficient multitasking on-the-go. Launching a stylus with the iPad Pro would be marvellous!
• A lot of artists and note makers will benefit from this for sure! With pressure sensitive input, writing flawlessly on the iPad’s retina display will be a dream come true!

Launch Date?

2015 for sure! Many experts predict it to September 2015 according to news agency Bloomberg’s reports. Since the iPad Pro wasn’t mentioned at the Apple Watch mega-launch event, September might be it! That is the time Apple might announce an upgrade to this wearable technology.
